The thing about Procreate is that you can REALLY FINE-TUNE your brushes in more ways that you will probably ever want or need to.

Remember that when you select a brush, you can adjust it’s color, size, and opacity easily as I explained above. Start without strain to play without forcing an outcome. Depends how you are feeling, what your goals are, and what you want to do on the day you use the app. You only need 3 things to start creating masterpieces in Procreate: an iPad, a stylus, and Procreate which you can download from the App Store for 9. If you can afford an iPad, you can afford the app. Especially when you consider the unlimited hours you can spend with it and the betterment of a skill. For how capable the ProCreate app is, it is dirt cheap. (speaking of selection of color, I’ll explain about colors in the video)īECAUSE, as you can see, I selected the “painting” icon, these are some of the options (column at the right with the swatches) that I get to choose from!!!! When you purchase any app in the App Store it tells you which devices are compatible on the download page. I took the screen -shot above so you can “take a peek” before you view the video.ĭo you see the column down the left? Each icon opens a whole menu of brushes.
